United Community Wellness was created by, and is the professional nursing practice of Layna Palechek, with all services and offerings personally provided by Layna.

As a person, a professional, and the founder of United Community Wellness, I believe in and am deeply committed to:

Delivering quality, person-centered healthcare that is supportive, compassionate, accessible, and inclusive—honoring the diversity of all racial, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, size, and defining experiences and identities.

Ensuring that everyone has the right to safety, respect, autonomy, education, informed decision-making, and informed consent while receiving care.

My nursing practice and office location are safe, supportive spaces where every individual is valued and respected.

I live and work within Treaty Six Territory, the traditional homelands and communities of many Métis, Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux First Nations people.

I acknowledge the profound and lasting impact of colonialism and residential schools on the health and wellness of Indigenous peoples within Treaty Six Territory.

I value the knowledge and wisdom of Indigenous Elders and healers, the use of Traditional medicine, ceremonies, and healing practices that contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

I am committed to nurturing peaceful, respectful, and collaborative relationships to support and improve the health and wellness of Indigenous peoples who live within Treaty Six Territory and in communities across Canada.

In Unity,

Layna
