In the Moment

Nursing Care & Support Provided By An Experienced Registered Nurse

Nursing care to support mom and baby - during pregnancy or postpartum.

Throughout your pregnancy, you may find a visit helpful for asking questions, exploring care options, determining your care preferences, discussing thoughts and emotions you may be experiencing, and to receive nursing care and support that will optimize your health during this transformational time.

As you prepare for labour, birth, and postpartum, visits are helpful for receiving prenatal education tailored to your specific experience  - with time to ask questions, explore options, practice techniques, determine your preferences, create care plans, and gather resources that will support you.

Feel confident, informed, and supported throughout your pregnancy.

In the postpartum days, weeks, and months, visits are helpful for receiving nursing care for you and your baby. This may include maternal and newborn physical assessments and vital signs check-ups; newborn weight checks; lactation and infant feeding support; education and assistance with newborn care; support and resources to help with current challenges; sharing your birth story; support for general mood and emotional well-being; or working together to adapt your postpartum care plans.

Receive gentle care and support as you rest, recover, and heal.

Each In the Moment visit will address your current needs and be guided by your individual preferences. Your questions, concerns, and desires shape the nursing care process. You will receive care and support that is unhurried and attentive to your body, mind, and soul  - with the goal of addressing your holistic health and well-being during each visit.

Inspired by women and families who have experienced feeling “in that moment all I needed was…”,

“at that moment all I wanted to know was…”, “when that moment arrived I wished I had…”.

Sometimes all we need is a guiding hand, a listening ear, an experienced set of eyes, or a supportive voice to be with us.

Initial Intake Visit 60 -75 min $150  |  Follow-Up Visit 45-60 min $125

Please note that to be considered a Follow Up, a visit must be booked within 3 months of the last appointment. Customizable packages available, please contact me for options.

Pathway

to Support

1  |     Choose your care and support.

Select the individual visit or customizable package that best suits your needs.

If you are unsure which option is right for you, book a free Discovery Call, and we can discuss what options will work best for you.

2  |    Connect with me.

As soon as you have selected your care and support option, you will receive an email with a link to create your Client Portal. In the portal, you can schedule your first visit and complete an intake form ahead of our time together. This helps me get to know a little bit about you, and understand what’s important to you before our visit - ensuring we make the most of our time together.

3  |    Begin our time together.

Your first visit is booked, and the paperwork is complete. Now, the best part happens! We will connect in community, and you will receive holistic nursing care and support from me. Care that is unhurried, in a space where you feel safe and comfortable. The care I provide is highly skilled, holistic, respectful, collaborative, and centred around you.

This is a time and space dedicated to you.

Go beyond routine, standardized care.

Receive the care and support you deserve.

Let’s work together and be well.

As a person, a professional, and the founder of United Community Wellness, I believe in and am deeply committed to:

Delivering quality, person-centered healthcare that is supportive, compassionate, accessible, and inclusive—honoring the diversity of all racial, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, size, and defining experiences and identities.

Ensuring that everyone has the right to safety, respect, autonomy, education, informed decision-making, and informed consent while receiving care.

My nursing practice and office location are safe, supportive spaces where every individual is valued and respected.

I live and work within Treaty Six Territory, the traditional homelands and communities of many Métis, Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux First Nations people.

I acknowledge the profound and lasting impact of colonialism and residential schools on the health and wellness of Indigenous peoples within Treaty Six Territory.

I value the knowledge and wisdom of Indigenous Elders and healers, the use of Traditional medicine, ceremonies, and healing practices that contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

I am committed to nurturing peaceful, respectful, and collaborative relationships to support and improve the health and wellness of Indigenous peoples who live within Treaty Six Territory and in communities across Canada.
